Do any linguistics nerds have any information on the use of "regardless as to" vs. "regardless of" Spell check seems to think that the latter is the only correct one, but I can't see why & google isn't helpful
here's the thing... it usually *is* that deep
another opportunity to PSA that 'trans' and 'women' are two separate words, by the way. you can see here how they're using 'transwomen' as a noun, not as a type of woman, but as their own set. please break those words up. bonus info: it's also not hyphenated!
and the only reason I bring this up is because there are so many transmasc people who are willing to recruit allies into transmisogyny that it has meaningfully shaped even well-meaning people's understanding of trans people in a very negative way

Honestly though, scientists talking about trans people as if we're some sort of new thing, is like if a German anthropologist in the 60s were to talk about Judaism as though it were some new age spirituality Like, okay so were just gonna pretend the last 500 years didn't happen???
One thing that is so fascinating about transphobia, is how weirdly concentrated it is among the rich, the press, and the entertainment industry. People try to paint bigotry as a middle america poor person thing... but transphobia is highest among people who's entire life is image
Almost every day I see a trans man in some trans woman's comments/replies complaining about not being centered, having books about them, or spaces dedicated to them and... to be honest, like any other man, they're expecting women to do all that for them instead of making those things for themselves
Like fr, have yall heard stories of the great lengths Rebecca Sugar had to go to, to publish STEVEN UNIVERSE The US is censorship central tbh
It's kinda wild to think about how, literally since the cold war/red scare there has been this narrative about the USSR being a place of extreme censorship and the US having free speech when like.... they Hayes code existed???? like, LMAO
