Part of the genesis was the notable difference in reaction of mainstream political commentators vs. dismissed left voices - ‘shitposters’, ‘dirtbags’, etc. - who had been shouting into the void for years. Also the fact the UK gov. almost toppled & political studies seemed totally unprepared (2/2)
