Also, met Roland Fleming, who surprisingly was my PhD mentor David Somers' lab mate during his postdoc at MIT. He gave a lovely talk on visual perception of textures.
We can do so much cool stuff with layer fMRI and high-resolution imaging using 7T. Frankfurt is pretty this time of year and home to some lovely museums. Really glad that IIT Gandhinagar and DAAD German Academic Exchange Service for giving opportunity to build interesting collaborations.
I’m visiting Frankfurt, Germany, at the Max Planck Society’s Ernst Strüngmann Institute (ESI) as part of the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service Indo-German exchange fellowship, where I’m working with @rademaker.bsky.social's group to investigate sensory and mnemonic codes during working memory

The highlight of the visit was my first scan on a 7 Tesla high-field MRI scanner, which can provide a better look at brain function. Beaming after the success of the scan. Thanks a lot to Dimo Ivanov for all the help with the scanning.

across auditory and visual modalities in prefrontal brain regions. I gave a talk a few weeks ago highlighting the work we have done on sensory-specific and multiple-demand regions in prefrontal and parietal cortices.
