“Down by the Bay” is a cry for help. A song about a child who is afraid to go back home because his mother is there ranting and raving about her fantastical delusions. “Have you ever seen a whale with a polka dot tale?!” “Mom, you need help!!”
This might be the best bit of art-based drama Portland has ever seen.
Come for the catty quips from traditional art people, stay for the lead-based retaliation.
