New Yorker's rallied today to remind Lee Zeldin that New York banned fracking and that ban was permanent. Also opposing any new gas pipelines
Last year @ssteingraber1.bsky.social joined us in the Texas Permian oil fields to talk to Mexican politicians about the known dangers of fracking. And then she went to Mexico with @txsharon.bsky.social to do the same.
Yesterday, she was warning New Yorker's about the fracking risks....again.

@txsharon.bsky.social took a team from El Pais Mexico out in the Permian to see the reality of what fracking for oil does to inform the people of Mexico as their government makes plans to do the same.
There are efforts around the world to try to de-emphasize the climate damage done by methane. Since they can't control the methane emissions they want us to ignore them. This is extreme climate science denial we can't afford.

Freeport #LNG Liquefaction and Pretreatment operations are the biggest polluters I have seen in 12 years of surveying oil and gas operations around the world. This facility pollutes at this level every day, all day and all night.
Watch for movement. That's #methane gas filling the entire frame.

Methane ends up in our troposphere warming our planet for a decade. Stopping that methane is the climate emergency brake.
