I was *this* close to getting the Merrily soundtrack out of my head (I’ve been a bit obsessed since seeing the pro-shot a couple weeks ago) and then @gianmarcosoresi.bsky.social had to go and sing Old Friends at his show last night!
My 8-year-old to me at 9pm tonight: “Remember those mini Oreo cupcakes you made for my birthday? Can you make them for my class potluck tomorrow?”
The bike lanes are treacherous here today so for the first time ever I made the kids walk and take transit to school. There was much whining about having to leave the house 15 minutes earlier than usual and lots of “I would have been FINE to bike 🙄” from the teen.
I spent four days in NYC last week seeing 8 shows. I didn’t love the idea of going to the US, but New York was just as excellent as ever and all the theatre I saw was incredible. I’m glad I went!
