An editor's best work is invisible. For every error you see in a printed book, editors worked with devs, designers, and artists to fix a thousand. We fought so hard to build this team and I'm absolutely gutted over this.
The layoffs hurt in general but losing editors is a special kind of hurt. We fought for them. I trained them. They learned and grew over the course of three years. They gave it 100% and more. We have been such a good team. The perfect team, honestly. It just breaks my heart.
