If you’re coming to our Queens Road 125 this weekend by Metrolink, our free heritage buses will pass Queens Rd stop every 15 mins (30 mins Sunday) and we can take you from there. Oh, and as you pass through, check out artist Andy who’s painting this brill mural - and say hello!
The first two visiting vehicles have arrived for our Queens Road 125 celebration this weekend - and they’re belters! They represent two generations of the buses (and their crews) that have served north Manchester since 1901.

#ThrowbackThursday this week takes us to #Wigan bus station - the photo is undated but we think it's about 1989. We'd love to know if anyone recognises the Wiganer lady on the left!

Thanks to all who helped make our Queens Road 125 event amazing - the museum volunteers, visiting vehicle owners, brill friends at TfGM and Stagecoach, stall holders and of course the visitors who enjoyed the event.
See you at our next event - Remembering Lancashire United will be on 25/26 July.
Well done if you got it right! This is the junction of Scholes Lane and Bury Old Road, Prestwich.
After the excitement of the Queens Road garage open day yesterday, there's still plenty to see and do at our museum today as we celebrate 125 years of the iconic bus garage. Buses to Shudehill and Heaton Park, displays and our legendary tea room! motgm.uk/events-qs125...
It's #MysteryMonday, so it's over to you to spot where this photo from our archives was taken. It'd be easier if we hadn't rubbed out the road name on the right... If you think you know where this is, reply and we'll confirm the answer later.
Our #SaturdayShowoff is two for one this week - and as it's the Queens Road 125 garage open day today, it had to be these two that were housed in QS garage in their working lives. It's not too late to see and ride on them this weekend - we plan to have 3629 in service tomorrow.
