https://www.youtube.com/@SakiEndosRubbishHeap Saki, Hisao and Kaito take you through Japanese retro and some modern video games, review them on real hardware, and evaluate how accessible they are to non Japanese speakers and learners alike. Rad!

My #randomgamesaturday pick. The forgotten Kirby Super Nintendo game or should that be Super Famicom, Kirby’s Star Stacker, a game that I really enjoyed on Game Boy and one of my collection’s treasures but did I like this very late 1999 physical release as much? Check my review out for the full SP!

The Rubbish Heap but in print had a mild reaction. I did receive 2-3 useful bits of feedback. Enough to encourage me to work up a bit more of an example of what I am thinking of doing with compiling a book about mostly Japanese exclusives and explaining them. Better fire Aldus PageMaker...joke! 😂
Also in, isn't it amazing what we can do today, these photos were all taken on an old iPhone with a bit of additional lighting and some photoshop to remove the background. The hassle of doing these shots years ago with film was real man. Like get the Sekonic light meter out kinda real.
