(The danger is that the tip will catch in a pocket and the blade will break, and everything gets that much riskier with a broken blade bc you risk that they break sharp - I’ve fenced places where the rules was that if you hear a blade break, everyone stops until you figure out whose hand it’s in)
I’m still stuck on this. He’s got what I’m pretty sure is an allstar FIE jacket on, which is basically as expensive as gear gets, he’s probably bouting bc you can see his body cord and you wouldn’t bother for drills, and POCKETS? I can’t say I’ve never fenced in sweats but pockets are a hazard!!
