A Straighty I had just met asked me “So any special plans for Pride Month?
From out my mouth slipped “It’s Pride Month every month for us.”
I know she meant well, & my own reaction surprised me.
But defiance has been a survival tactic, & you don’t just turn it on or off for a party, I guess.
