As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, UNU-IIGH hosted a high-level event in Kuala Lumpur. As the institute enters its third decade, UNU-IIGH is moving towards a new visual identity: 𝗨𝗡𝗨 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 A new visual identity for a new phase — and a renewed call for collaboration.

Dr. Revati Phalkey, Director of UNU-IIGH, met with YBrs. Dr. Ismuni Bohari, Deputy Director General (Public Health) at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, for a courtesy call to discuss avenues for enhanced collaboration to advance global health initiatives at the national level.

UNU-IIGH, in collaboration with the Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Section of the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, has launched Phase 1 of the M&E Workshop, designed to strengthen key capacities in strategic planning, data use, & performance management to build stronger health systems.

Dr 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘇𝗲, from 𝗨𝗡𝗨-𝗜𝗜𝗚𝗛, joined 𝗕𝗙𝗠 𝟴𝟵.𝟵, alongside registered nurse 𝗛𝗼 𝗩𝘂𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝘆𝗶, from the 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, for a timely discussion on nurses’ wellbeing and health workforce resilience in settings affected by climate-related pressures. Full discussion here: go.unu.edu/JKJZE
