48% of 18 to 29-year-olds say AI will have a negative impact on society over the next 20 years, while 39% of 30 to 49-year-olds say the same.
Among those 50+ just 37% say AI will have a negative impact over the next 20 years.
Half of Americans now use AI chatbots, up from 33% in the summer of 2024.
