I make tabletop RPG stuff. The most popular thing I've made has been Procedures to Discover the Path Ahead. mastodon: https://dice.camp/@seedling mailing list: https://buttondown.email/seedling website: https://seedlinggames.com

Oh yeah I now also have some of my stuff on Rpg Trader e.g. rpg-trader.com/products/104...
If players have the ability to shape the game they play in beyond the designer's intent, if they have the same power to shape the game as the GM or game writer, they also then have the same responsibilities as the GM or game writer towards their fellow players.
On a personal level it's really hard for me to get past the idea that if I'm playing a PvP game it's important to know everyone is on the same page and having fun OOC.
Also another thing when I bring it up is people mostly coming up with like, game design solutions for the problem. But I think it is a social problem and not a game design one. And I think it's one that the players are responsible for.
we spent weeks trying to kill this one fish from a random encounter, who had eaten a piece of rope we were especially fond of (it was a very big fish) I think that pretty much explains the game
I wish I was the sort of person who could be like, no you're just wrong about that, but I struggle with it. Especially when there's in game conflict.
I have a hard time when someone is like no actually you should play a different game, the one *I* want to play, because the one you signed up for is objectively bad, especially when there are a lot of such people.
I played in a campaign of this run by the author, I think a playtest? Now there's physical copies It's an ItO game, I played a mutant ant called Efficiency the Unyielding, I could breathe fire (I was a fire ant) rpg-trader.com/products/103...

This has been one of the most useful RPG tools I picked up. While lots of random tables have been popular, this one is great for little cultural bits, what is a village like, etc. It contributed a lot to a lot of the way I use random charts in my campaigns today!
