She kept her babies safe through winter, with a deep neck wound and severe pyometra, which she had surgery for. She's between 4-7 years old.

Clover came to us 2 days ago with severe post-distemper symptoms - split paws, slight neck twitch, infections.
Making the decision to give her a chance was a serious discussion amongst us, it's rare for dogs to survive neurological stage distemper and the infections in her paw wounds are severe.

She wants affection, despite her pain, she had appetite, she engaged with the people rescuing her.
We're doing our best for her. We don't know if she can fully recover, but she has the chance she was asking us for.
