Also stay tune if you want to know more on the long term & intergenerational effects of early-life heterothermic expression with studies about to be submitted and in preparation. So coming out hopefully soon!
A special thanks to my former graduate student, Laura Charlanne, first author of the study, now lecturer & postdoctoral researcher. Also a huge thanks to all co-authors of the study who made this journey possible.

Here's a National Science Foundation paper I worked on that will be impossible under the regime's proposed rules. We study evolution, which happens across the entire globe. We had collaborators in Argentina, in Australia, in Germany. We cannot do our kind of science in one country.
I am delighted to share the first study of the Energetics Lab with my undergraduate, Korben Moelter, as first author published in the Journal of Comparative Physiology B. A neat comparison of Mammalian Thermoregulation Clines Across North America Using Bergman’s Rule. Check: doi.org/10.1007/s003...
Now I am thrilled to announce the publication of the first piece of a long-term study on developmental flexibility of energy saving strategies, namely torpor & huddling, in a small fat storing hibernator. This work happened during my time as senior researcher in Vienna. www.cell.com/iscience/ful...
