It you don't have biometrics turned off on your phone (& you have a phone with that capability), be sure you know the shortcut to turn it off. (Below is the way for iPhones but I know it's doable on Android & probably others too.)

If you have an iPhone, you can do this in literally one second:
Hold down the sleep/wake button (right side) and raise volume (left side)—just like how you’d power off your phone—but instead of sliding to power off, just hit cancel.
That turns off biometrics until you enter your password.
