A ‘suffrage game’ such as Pank-a-Squith is just one of the 100 objects through which I narrate the history of the British women’s suffrage movement. Look out for my book, to be published by @bloomsburyhist.bsky.social 23 July
I am really looking forward to talking about my research and (so very nearly completed) book on women’s welfare activism at the CBH seminar on 24th June at IHR. If you are in London then do come along would be lovely to see you. www.history.ac.uk/news-events/...
And we will also a small display of material that we have bought for The Women's Library this year.
We also ran an oral history project on women involved in the Movement for the Ordination of Women, a campaign that Una Kroll was involved in. Hear them here: digital.library.lse.ac.uk/collections/...
Looking forward to attending the @fotwl.bsky.social annual lecture & hearing the always worth hearing @teadevotee.bsky.social & @graceheaton.bsky.social speak faith, feminism & politics. Free tickets still available in-person & online…

An item carried in her funeral procession is Object 73 in my ‘The British Women’s Suffrage Movement in 100 Objects’ pub by @bloomsburyhist.bsky.social on 23 July. An enticing pre-order price is available
