With no boats coming through because of a closure upstream, the canal past our village is especially calm just now, with clear water letting us watch the fish as the boats aren’t here churning up the mud.

An evening stroll.
Fragments of cloud in blue sky,
And sun on the fields.
Look at me! I wrote a poem this morning!
"My Fabulous Wings"
