Can you imagine how great the 250th anniversary celebrations could have been under this guy?
I think we’ve reached the point in the timeline where we need to send someone to a small farm in the middle of nowhere and convince the old guy who runs it to come out of retirement and help fix the mess we’re in.
Unwittingly I have found myself involved in the world of sci fi solo TTRPG and I must say I’m rather enjoying it.
The title of my autobiography shall be “There are butter and toast crumbs in the Marmite jar: A life of minor annoyances”.
Not to brag, but I’ve won every argument I’ve ever had*
(*in my head, several hours later.)
I wish I had a dollar for every time I send myself an email as a reminder note, then get surprised 30 seconds later when I receive an email.
The work task I have been putting off for the past two weeks just took me 20 mins to complete.
Did I believe it would take me longer? No.
Will I have learned anything from this experience? Also no.
