A possible side effect of antipsychotics (aka neuroleptics, fka chemical lobotomies) is 'tardive dyskinesia', a similar thing of repeated involuntary movements. One other similarity between Benadryl and most antipsychotics, is they both block histamine receptors. Is that the cause? I don't know.

Did you know that Benadryl can make your muscles jerk involuntarily? I learned that from personal experience yesterday. It’s weird and uncomfortable AF
