By all accounts, Manga Ichiba was a huge success this year! Let's hope it paves the way for more US based doujin events!!

So I haven't been posting a lot of updates here, and that's because I've had my head down working on my comic for SPX in September! But I want to talk a little bit about the tools I'm using for it ✨
Aside from that, I'm using Mitsubishi HB pencils, kneadable erasers, and Copic Multiliner SPs for inking (once I get to that point). The toning I do in Clip Studio Paint. I will make a JetPens list of all this stuff perhaps

First, I'm using qovo.jp/dojin-techo to plan and keep track of my doujin progress. You plug in your number of pages and your deadline and it gives you a schedule that fluctuates based on how much you get done and when. Useful tool!
Second, I'm using Deleter comic book paper (A4 size for B5 size book). I bought a five pack off Amazon but you can also get it at JetPens. www.jetpens.com/Deleter-Comi...
JetPens list of doujin supplies I use! www.jetpens.com/wishlist?wis... (actually I use Sharpies for black fills because I go out to cafés and work so I don't want to spill ink... but the black Deleter ink is better)

Just learned about MCE Printing, a print shop specializing in doujinshi! They offer B5 and A5 printing among many others and I'm very excited to try them out!!! mceprinting.com
Doujin Freaks!
if you watched the success of manga ichiba this weekend and feel inspired to bring doujin culture to your locale, shoot me a DM! We're gathering folks interested in running doujinshi events in NA and we'd love to hear from you!! ✍️
I've created a mailing list for doujinshi fans in North America. I'll be using it to spread information about new & future doujin events across the US and Canada. If you're interested in participating or attending more doujin events around your local area, please sign up! faiell.kit.com/doujin
