I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.
A big part of my respect for cats is how they've worked out a deal where they get what they want, when they want it, and have no requirements to do anything that they don't feel like.
This has kind of shaken me.
Between this and the farm loan forgiveness stuff it's like Mexico is really trying to rub America's nose in what can be done if you want to, and aren't just run by an international crime carter.
Any reporting on this that doesn't make it very clear in the first paragraph that this is the result of Trump & DOGE defunding the science work to maintain the barrier is WILDLY IRRESPONSIBLE.

I’m not a conspiracy guy but the trend is clear: conservative politicians are getting more cartoonishly evil and corrupt so that the public MUST vote for the corporate banker climate-denying Christian right-of-centre politicians we’re presented with. Fascism Lite so we don’t get fascism!!!
