If nothing else, I'm very strongly leaning towards another Demo stream. Lots of cool demos out there I've been dying to try and with the SiN remaster getting one recently it's basically a sure thing.
It's crazy that One X turned 20 years old yesterday. This was my and many others intro to "emo rock" music back in the day and it shaped a lot of my tastes moving forward.
Doom, Half-Life, SiN, Quake; that was all "violent trash" or "just like GTA" to my mom and things I frequently cite as peak gaming nowadays. Every now and then I genuinely forget that I didn't grow up with this stuff with how much I love them all now, wild stuff.
This says a lot about society
It's weird to think that I grew up not being allowed to play any FPS games. I think that might have drove the swing in the opposite direction I took as an adult, like half the games I'd list as all time favorites now I can garuntee my mom would NEVER have been on board with when I was a kid
I have my qualms with Three Days Grace these days, still really icked out that they used generated slop for concert visuals in recent years.
But they were my favorite band for most of my life and one x is still their best work in my opinion. Legendary album.
