I actually like the building, but Elizabeth was very right in her much needed article that actually gets to the issues at hand vs just bow down to the starchitects

Sorry for being testy on here today - it has been A DAY. One thing getting me is that my firm struggles with visibility. No one knows about what we do outside of a small circle. It's disheartening to see large firms and starchitects get all the attention when the average small firm is struggling.

Do really good, much needed work to ensure people have good housing they can turn into homes: crickets $850 million spectacle that couldn't be bothered to work with the community its in: all the press
I’m glad we have critics like Elizabeth, Zach, Lee, Kate, Anjulie, and others that will take on those issues with skill. So much of architecture press is “yay big firm did stuff, look at that star, oh the young firm just did their rich parents house”.
