Also, it is common for a lot of Ukrainian surnames to end in "ko" (e.g. Poroshenko, Gerashchenko, etc etc etc) so I thought this South Slavic (Yugoslav) name, that ended in "ko", for a Ukrainian cat was appropriate. 🐈🐈⬛😺🐾🇺🇦
