I always used to read that people used long galleries to exercise in bad weather, but since I became a dog-owner, I'm convinced their purpose is in fact avoiding rainy dog walks

Kirby’s an elegant 16th century home, with a few 17th century amendments and quite a lot of 18th century additions. Recommend a visit!
