As a transit rider, I joined my colleagues and transit advocates in calling for the preservation of hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for transit programs that is at risk of being lost. Public transit is essential for our state's economy and addressing climate change. 🚆 🚍️
The California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls is looking for enthusiastic young women and girls ages 14–20 from across California to join the Youth Advisory Council (YAC).
The application period runs May 15 – July 15.

June is #MensHealthMonth. Too many men are ignoring their physical and mental health, resulting in lower life expectancies and higher levels of loneliness. Routine checkups and not being afraid to ask for help can improve wellbeing and quality of life.
