Omoyele Sowore, activist and former presidential candidate, reportedly fell unconscious during a protest in Abuja, sparking immediate concern and widespread reactions across social media. The incident occurred on the day of the demonstration in the Federal Capital Territory, where protesters had gathered to voice their grievances over rising insecurity and other national challenges. Eyewitnesses at the scene said Sowore collapsed amid the crowd, prompting shouts from demonstrators who cried out, “Sowore don faint oooo, they din kpai him oooo.” Security operatives were seen attempting to disperse the crowd as Sowore was quickly rushed away in a vehicle.
