working on a lot of other things recently, but here's something i've been thinking around with quyen.
i've only got sketches to show for what i've been drawing lately, i don't usually post these but i should probably
aside from the obvious bigotry here to be discounted entirely, it's a good segue into how i do sometimes wonder what makes pieces that do well in some places do notably poorer in other places i post, or why things i was particularly proud of seemed to flop and the quick and dirty things didn't.
sometimes something will do fantastic on bsky, but get essentially nothing on dA, and often vice versa, and i've never quite seen a specific rhyme and reason to it yet, since similar subject matter then doesn't see the same. odd quirks of an algorithm tampering with an audience is all i can conjure
great news! this is now statistically my most unpopular piece, at least according to some people who went very far out of their way to open and rate it poorly on newgrounds, a site i barely have enough of a presence on to get votes at all usually.
