Tarting up the 3mm Norman bases. Adding a few lances on the knights at different angles helps to bring life to the models.
No hobby activity today. Apart from the weekly Virtual Wargames Club Zoom session. Always pleasant. So just a nice evening dog walk on a rather resplendent Whitley Bay beach followed by snacks, cheese, Cava, and Pinot...

Finished off all the duellists today. Will be doing a blog post with background later but for now here are the completed figures.
3D Prints. Swords a little flimsy but seem quite robust.

As well as painting my 28mm Brits this week Ive also been painting an extra section and Senior Leader for my 15mm Heer platoon.
One of my favourite reads of last year was the books in the Alatriste series by Arturo Perez-Reverte. Saw the film ages ago (and still watch it about once a year) but took a while to get round to the books. There are currently six in English with two more yet to be translated...and that looking rather unlikely... Anyway... While trawling eBay I came across some 3D prints of duellists.
