In a familiar story, a shuttered school campus in a suburban locale is set to give way to new housing.Villages at Fruit Street, a project from Lewis Homes, is slated for the former Lutheran High School campus located at 3960 Fruit Street in the City of La Verne. The nine-acre campus, which shuttered in 2023, is set to give way to a project which would include 121 homes in a mix of townhome and standalone single-family dwellings.
