The Platner feeding frenzy is bizarre, only focused on the worst accusations & denying all else. The people promoting it have an agenda, or two.
The thing is, they have no idea what is happening in Maine or why people would vote for Platner. They have tunnel vision for tat chatter and NYT hit jobs.
