For everyone that thinks of the US as a homogeneous country - it's not. We have 50 states with n counties and each county has various municipalities. Some states are technically Commonwealths. Most of us didn't vote for fascism and half of the voting population voted against it.
Local store started charging 3% for credit card use. I want to support local businesses but I don't support being charged 3% to use my card. I'll have to switch to cash but that's going to make me spend less. Not a great business decision.
