I hate it so much. They’re depriving themselves of the rich history of Black Americans x Indigenous folk. They too harbor stereotypes and internalized anti blackness.

today i grieve the ways colonialism has flattened us. i’ve been studying african philosophy & how translating works to english doesn’t do african languages justice. we don’t even know what we can’t feel or express as Black americans 🥹
