In the mood for something a little different? Try my debut novel, PLEASE GIVE! It’s inspired by my time in the DC nonprofit sector, and my editor said I could probably call it office horror if I wanted to. sonorawrites.com/please-give/

I've just finished Tradwife and it's one of my favourite books so far this week, getting stuck into more 🦇Nefarious Bat 🦇 this sunny weekend (Awake In The Night, as I so often am)
Ten years old this month, my first book looking at how novelists, poets and film directors represent journalists in their creative work (and why are writers and filmmakers so fascinated by this contested figure).

And here for Backlist Saturday is The Rooks Trilogy! A bickering psychic family (Boomer parents, millennial kids who can't afford to move out plus a son in law) stumble upon an attempt to end the world! Buying links: farragobooks.com/book-series/... #BookSky

hey, backlist lovers, do you like gory creature-feature horror with animals going rabid & killing people, in the old school 70s paperback big-cast-steadily-whittled-down and random-vignettes-of-people-being-brutally-killed way? Because have I got the gore for you: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CWQ6C1D3
My backlist is *exact* one novel long at the moment, but it's a cracking good Gothic Fantasy novel about a depressed grave robber, a devil worshipping bard, and a very tired monster monster finding adventure in Slavic Venice.
Please repost if that sounds fun! mybook.to/ornamentalwo...

Most of my short fiction that’s been published is either out of print or with publishers I no longer wish to promote, but check out this sword and sorcery tale about a young woman taking refuge from a blizzard in a haunted shrine…

Inspired by Hailey, I dub this Backlist Saturday. Join me in reintroducing the world to your older titles! Because, as I continually forget to remind myself: books don't actually go off a month after release...

I KNOW preorders are super important for books, but they're also not how consumers find products, so like... just remember the long tail.
People want to go into a place, pick up a thing, and enjoy it. Build more infrastructure around the period of time when readers can actually be consumers.
