The project will bring 228 new housing units, including affordable homes, along with new green space and coworking space in the heart of one of Minneapolis’ most iconic neighborhoods.
In Minneapolis, we love love. This morning, we turned City Hall into a celebration to honor our LGBTQ+ community and remind them this is a place and city where everyone can show up exactly as they are.
After six years of work, the Seven Points development is moving forward — and it will be the largest new development in Uptown since before the pandemic.
Already, we’ve put forward over $10m in rent relief and support for small businesses, and we’re going to keep working with city, county, and state partners to deliver for our residents.
Months ago, my office stood up an immigration task force made up of community leaders, business owners, City staff, and law enforcement. The goal? Bring people together to share ideas and quickly communicate important information to our immigrant neighbors when it’s needed most.
Minneapolis doesn’t leave people behind. While Operation Metro Surge has caused nearly $700 million in economic damage and disruption across the city - we know no matter how we’re tested, we’re going to find a way to move forward.
We’re actively monitoring the situation at W. 28th Street and Nicollet Avenue and coordinating closely with our safety teams. Minneapolis Police are supporting our county partners on scene. Thank you to all our public safety partners for their response. Please avoid the area until further notice.
When the 2028 NFL Draft comes to Minneapolis, we’ll be ready to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors to our great northern city. No city does major events better than Minneapolis — and we’re ready to show the world why.
A lot of work has happened behind the scenes since then, and I’m grateful to everyone on this team who’s stepped up to lead. Minneapolis is proud of our immigrant neighbors. We’ll never stop standing up for them.
From Nicollet Mall to East Lake Street, Minneapolis is ready for the World Cup. Our local bars and restaurants are creating great places to watch and celebrate, so be sure to stop by and support them. Let’s go! ⚽️ www.axios.com/local/twin-c...
