Paulo Manrique, PhD '26, analyzed the genomes of nearly a thousand malaria parasites to trace their origins and help explain malaria's recent resurgence in Central America. He and his colleagues are now building a network to share genomic tools and data to track the disease across the region.
At Harvard Chan Convocation, student speaker Rajeshwari Subramanian, MPH '26, shared how her experience at Harvard has transformed her way of seeing problems and inspired her to use her education to ensure the health and well-being of others. #HarvardChan26

One year into new federal health leadership, new poll findings show a sharp fall in trust in the CDC, as well as continued support for childhood vaccine requirements and recent changes to dietary guidelines.
2026 graduate Qais Dirar says the DrPH program helped him transform his leadership skills. “The DrPH helped me see leadership as an inner orientation: being clear about my values, integrating my identities across cultures, and showing up in ways that are true to who I am.”
