This account is dedicated to #TranslatorsInTheCredits, a movement that aims to highlight the lack of crediting of Localization staff (Translators, Editors, LPMs, etc.), whose contributions to the games industry are often invisibilized.

Gothic 1 Remake, developed by Alkimia Interactive and published by @thqnordic.com, localized in 9 languages, credits most translators... Except Spanish, which is handled by the infamous ACE Localisation.

The localization company listed in the credits is AlgoGames, a subsidiary of Algomatic, who claims to be "Empowering people to be happy through the AI revolution". Therefore, it's possible that no humans were involved in the translation.
Terminator 2D: NO FATE, developed by @bitmapbureau.com and published by Reef Entertainment, localized in 13 languages, does NOT feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits. Only the management of the localization studio, Quantic Lab, is credited.
MOTORSLICE, developed by @regularstudio.bsky.social and published by @tophatstudios.bsky.social, localized in 10 languages, does NOT feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits.
Mixtape (@mixtapegame.bsky.social), developed by Beethoven & Dinosaurs, and published by @annapurna.com does feature @riotloc.bsky.social as #TranslatorsInTheCredits, but fails to credit those that did additional localization under EDS Wordland LTD.
ACE is known for never crediting any of their contributors, as seen on Hell Is Us, RoboCop: Rogue City, Ad Infinitum (@nacon.bsky.social ) or Tunic ( @finjico.bsky.social ). One thing's for sure, their acronym does not stand for Always Credit Everybody.

It's confirmed: the end game credits of the Switch 2 version of Tales of Arise still do not include the English voice actors, English localizers, or FIGS localizers. AKA, the people who make sure your game emotionally resonates with overseas audiences. #TranslatorsintheCredits

Hey, @panachedgames.bsky.social, is there going to be another credits scene or the one accesible from the menu in the prologue is the only one? Because there aren't translators credited, but Keywords and its PM are! Weird you got it translated into many languages and forgot them!

The results are in: 0/4 of the recent Tales Remasters/Ports have credited the English localizers who worked on them. This has been an ongoing issue since 2014, when Tales games suddenly stopped crediting English localizers in both remasters and new entries. #TranslatorsintheCredits (1/8)
