“They did not find a place to bury you”
Over 58,000 children in Gaza have lost one or both parents since the start of the israeli ongoing genocide.
Today my wife, Maram, and I planted two strawberry plants in memory of her father, who was a strawberry farmer, and my dear friend Refaat al-Areer, who loved strawberries. They were both killed by israel in August 2025 and December 2023 respectively.
May their memories live forever.
