Just finished reading Eliot Schefer's duology The Darkness Outside Us/ The Brightness Between us and thought they were fantastic. Good Sci-Fi makes us ask the really big questions and this series does it in spades. I want more 🫠 (also kudos for the weirdly accurate Glasgow stuff in book 2!)
I find myself fucking exhausted with political discourse in the UK these days. People so idiotic to have voted for Brexit for "anti-immigration" reasons (even though it was made clear that it wouldn't help) only to continue to vote for the same dipshits that sold them the lie for the same lie AGAIN.

Me with a book hangover having just finished the Captive Prince trilogy. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Summer Palace was a necessary read to help ease the pain of the story being over!
I just finished reading (listening to) a 9 book series (Cut and Run by Madeline Urban/ Abigail Roux) and there is now a gaping void in my life. The writing improved as the series went on, I have SO MANY THOUGHTS. #mmromance #mmbooks
