ICYMI: In the past week, 7 Missouri counties have canceled their Jail Enforcement Model 287(g) agreements with ICE.
Only one of those counties actually left the program though, while the other six consolidated around still-active Task Force and/or Warrant Service Officer agreements.

4 of the 5 counties (Carter, Wright, Texas, and Mississippi) kept their task force agreement active. Callaway County only had a now-canceled JEM agreement.

There's a new trend in canceled 287(g) agreements, where participating agencies are consolidating, from multiple active agreements across the three program models to one.
In almost every case, they keep the Task Force agreement.
Two Missouri counties (Dekalb + Daviess) did just that today.
