I don’t hate this. Andrae was never gonna work here, ersson gets a decent opportunity elsewhere, and you get a legit good backup. The only fear I have is if Andrae could pop off in Toronto if he’s put in a role for it but oh well

Joseph Woll’s time in Toronto is over. The Leafs have traded Woll and Simon Benoit for Samuel Ersson, Emil Andrae and a 2026 third-round pick.
