In March of 1854 Joshua Glover was arrested in Racine Wisconsin because he had escaped slavery in Missouri. Feds participating in arresting him alongside his master. Sconnies said fuck that and Sherman Booth went out on the town raising a group of 5,000 to break Glover out.
