“Conservatives are inherently bad artists” sounds nice but it’s a liberal fantasy unfortunately. If this were true much of the literary canon of the early 20th century wouldn’t exist. People still wear Hugo Boss.
This is more of a modern art problem in general. The left isn’t elevating art either.

The problem is that “I am often scared and angry about social change” does not inherently lend itself to interesting art. You can be as technically skilled as the greats, but art with nothing interesting to say is just a commodity.
