UGE #6, this Sunday 14 June 1630 onwards! Come by to discover the rich undercurrent of experimentation happening in games, and meet some of the warmest and kindest people ever. (also there's free snacks, drinks, and a mango cake you'll learn more about during the talks)
Thank you to everyone who has reposted this. There are quite a few signups so far!
It does not matter if you are a designer, an artist, a programmer, an audio designer, a UX designer, a producer, or any other role. Every single gamedev portfolio is fine.
There are absolutely terrible people out there. But most of the time, when I see people mad at each other, it's a misunderstanding. "Someone heard that someone said that someone did..." and suddenly that person is an enemy. Besides, as long as it's not repeated behavior, people can and do change.
The review is entirely free, there is no need for payment. I am just hoping it's helpful for folks! If you know of any gamedev students who would like to have their portfolios reviewed, please share this with them.
