Update on this: the Oireachtas Health committee has agreed this afternoon to invite the Rotunda and CUMH into a committee hearing on June 1, with the hope of getting answers to a number of outstanding questions.

During Leaders' Questions this afternoon, the Social Democrats revealed that public-only consultants in Cork University Maternity Hospital have been receiving gifts to carry out private care.
It follows the revelation that the practice is also happening in the Rotunda Hospital.
