Because what they actually want is families that don’t need IVF, don’t need much healthcare, so you need to be as able-bodied & cishet as possible, and the idea that they’ve even just accepted the LGB in LGBTQIA+ is more of a joke.

okay let me clarify this.
Some trusts allow same sex couples to access IVF on the NHS if they prove that they’ve been thru a dozen or so rounds of privately funded IUI that were unsuccessful. Some don’t at all.
Cishet couple do not have to do this

That’s not true—access to IVF can be limited for a range of factors (postcode lottery, age etc) but lesbian couples can access IVF on the NHS.
