I was thinking something like a 90/10 split where authors get 90% of all money they receive and the platform gets 10% purely just to keep things running. Ideally maybe be a nonprofit so that all funds into the project go either towards hosting or paying the people who keep the project running.

the idea I have for this is basically that it acts as a queer invite-only publishing platform where people publish stories, journalism or whatever under their own aliases, for example something like q5.org/hanna/my-story, with the monetary system being per-creator to pay the authors on the platform.
randomly got the idea for a queer blog ran by queer writers named Q5 (short for queer, starts with the letter Q, it's 5 letters, so Q5). It would be a cool project but gathering volunteer writers would be the difficult part.
