I like what Jared said here but I think I fundamentally disagree with the overall Bluesky consensus that art is inherently anti-right wing.
This might get me crucified, but as I discussed on @deathsentencepod.bsky.social recently, we are fools if we think the left has a monopoly on aesthetics.
The problem is that “I am often scared and angry about social change” does not inherently lend itself to interesting art. You can be as technically skilled as the greats, but art with nothing interesting to say is just a commodity.
